JEE Main 2022 Application Form

From the below details, students will be able to know about JEE Main 2022 application form-

  • The registration process will be conducted in four sessions – March, April, and May & June 2022 as given above.
  • Students can register through online mode.
  • While going through the registering process for exam, candidate must assure that they are eligible by going through complete eligibility criteria provided below.
  • Candidate must assure that all the details provided during registration must be valid & authentic otherwise it might lead to rejection of form.
  • Students, who have made mistakes while filling the application form and submitted the form will be given option of correction later, so don’t get panic.

Here are the steps of Registration process

  1. Online registration
  2. Fill the application form
  3. Upload images of photograph/ signature / documents
  4. Payment of application fee, etc
  5. Take printout of application form and keep it safely for future reference.
Application Fee :

The application fee of JEE Main can be paid through online mode only. Offline mode payment is not available.

Online payment mode: Candidates can pay online application fee using debit card/ credit card /net banking/ PAYTM or UPI method.

JEE Main 2022 Application Correction

If any student had made any mistakes in the application form, then they will be able to make correction in the application form after the completion of the entire registration process. The exam authority will provide correction channel and window for modification only in few details. But no student will be allowed to make correction in the application after the last date.

Also before the JEE Main correction window opens for modification in details, the authority will also open image correction facility. This will be only one -time facility provided to the candidates. Students will be able to make correction by entering their login details on the website. So save your login details properly.

 

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria

 

  • There is no age limit criteria prescribed for the candidates for appearing in this exam.
  • Irrespective of age, candidates who have passed their 12th(Intermediate) or its equivalent in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022 are eligible to apply for this exam.
  • Students must note that they have to fulfill the age criteria as prescribed by the Institution they are taking admission.
General Eligibility:
  • Indian Nationals as well as International Applicants can apply.
  • There is a special eligibility criterion: International applicants must obtain necessary marks which are set by AIU to be eligible for JEE Main.
  • There is no attempt limitprescribed to apply for JEE Main.
  • Students applying for B.E/ B.Tech admission must have passed with 5 subjects in 12th
  • Students applying for B.Plan admission must have passed 12thlevel with Mathematics as mandatory subject.
  • Students applying for B.Arch admission must have passed 12thlevel with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects.
  • Students having diploma are also eligible to apply. But these students are eligible for admission in IITs only.
State Eligibility:
  • Candidates must fill the state code of eligibility during registration process, the state from which they have qualified their Intermediate exam.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Date for first session has been delayedRegistration is starting soon for March session. For first session, the exam will be conducted in the month of March 2022. It is an engineering entrance test organized all over India for the engineering aspirants. By qualifying this exam, candidates get admission in B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Arch/ B.Plan into top known engineering institutions like IITs, NITs, CFTIs, etc. As per the new changes introduced, this exam will be held four times – in the months

of MarchAprilMay & June. The exam will be held separately for Paper 1 (B.Tech/ B.E) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B.Plan). Through this article, our motto is to provide complete details regarding JEE Main application, exam dates, eligibility, pattern, etc.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check complete JEE Main exam pattern in the below given section:

  • Exam mode:JEE Main will be held in online computer-based test mode. However, the drawing test of paper 2 will be held in pen and paper mode.
  • Papers:There will be two papers in JEE Main – Paper I for B.E/ B.Tech and Paper II for B.Arch & B.Plan.
  • Time Duration:Time of 3 hrs will be provided to complete the paper. For PWD candidates 1 hour will be provided extra.
  • Type of Questions:There will be objective type of questions in the exam. The drawing paper will be subjective in nature.
  • Language:JEE Main paper can be attempted by the students in various languages. These languages are – Hindi, English, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Odia, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu and Telugu.
  • Total Questions:There will be total 90 questions in Paper I (B.E/ B.Tech) and 82 questions in Paper IIA (B.Arch) and 105 questions in Paper IIB (B.Plan).
  • Marks:Paper I (B.E/ B.Tech) will be of 300 marks ; Paper IIA (B.Arch) and Paper IIB (B.Plan) will be of total 400 marks.
  • Marking Scheme:For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No negative marking will be done in Section B.
